    My best friend-french movie

I was thinking about the question the man asked the other guy in the moive,

" Do you have anyone to call three clock in the afternoon?"
    "No..."
    "Man, you have no friends?"
"I have a lot of friends, you know my schedule is fully booked till next month. So many people are waiting to have lunch with me..."
"so you have someone to call three clock in the afternoon?"
    "No..."
"I see, you need a friend!"

Well, I thought about it, because I miss you, my friend~
You know who I am talking about, don't you?

    St Tropez Restaurant

It's one of the best dinners I had in New Zealand so far.
As the french girl (my flat mate) commented on this,"oh, it's so french, I love it."
I have not been to France yet, but I do like their french songs and the decorations that they put on the wall around the restaurant. What's most, the beautiful food~ They are not just tasty food, they are art I believe.
Her colleague even bought the expensive french champagne to celebrate the particular day.
    Oh,why not, it's her birthday~
Now, I am stuffed. Let me think what I had for tonight.
    ENTREES
Scallops Grilled & wrapped in Streaky Bacon, Provencale Rice, Chablis Cream Sauce  ~ Coquilles St Jacques
    MAINS
Lamb Casserole w Bacon, Onion, Mushroom, Rice Creole OR Pomme Puree ~  Blanquette d'Agneau
    Special
Birthday dessert with a birthday card which is made of white chocolate and writings in dark chocolate~

It's really a wonderful day, what a miracle! You know, her colleague's daughter was born the same day and same month as mine. How coincident could be~ However, we are 20 years difference. Her daughter is only 3 years old now:)

Oh, such a pity I did not record all the yummy dishes I ate with my other friend (such as with mandy and James). I was too busy to do that. Now I am kind of free to do so because I am graduated. Yahoo!!~

Anyway, got job to do tomorrow.

Conversations with My Gardener  (in French with English subtitles)

Two men, both advancing in years, converse in a garden deep in the French countryside. One is an artist, the other his gardener.

On finishing his work, the gardener enters the studio and looks over the artist’s shoulder. As the artist draws, the gardener talks: about his youth, his family, his travels, his health, and, of course, the pleasures of gardening. Sometimes the artist responds, sometimes he just listens; but all the while the bond between these two very different men is deepening.

Their growing friendship produces many moments of dry humour: when the gardener visits the artist in Paris, he brings an anvil along in his luggage; the pair go to the forest on a mission to steal a twenty foot fir tree; they marvel at the curious habits of local characters, and ponder whether a modern-day Jesus would take a job on the railway. There are moments of profundity, too, when the two friends reflect on their own mortality, and the equally taxing question of whether a lettuce can be as beautiful as a painting.

Tales from Earthsea  (In Japanese with English subtitles)

In a parallel, quasi-medieval world called Earthsea, teenage Prince Arren of the kingdom of Enlad is compelled by strange forces to kill his own father and steal the royal sword, which has mystical powers. Arren teams up with powerful wizard Archmage Ged to defeat wizard Cob, who is preparing to open the door between the realms of the living and the dead.

    Venus

The plot concerns Maurice (O'Toole), an elderly actor who finds himself attracted to his friend's young great-niece Jessie (Whittaker). Maurice finds Jessie initially unfriendly but succeeds in befriending her in part due to the appeal of his celebrity status. He takes her to the National Gallery in London, England to view his favorite painting, The Rokeby Venus by the Spanish artist Velázquez. Maurice arranges for Jessie to model nude for an art class, partly because he is attracted to her and hopes to watch the artists at work. When he is asked to step out he finds a bucket to stand on so he can peep into the room but falls and is found out. As a result of Jessie posing for the art class he decides to give her the nickname "Venus". Maurice and Jessie develop a passive/aggressive friendship over the course of the film. Maurice also likes touching and smelling Jessie, which she occasionally allows to a limited extent, like touching her hand, and smelling her neck. Maurice buys gifts for Jessie (although on one occasion he forgets to bring along enough money, embarrassing her).

Jessie becomes involved with a boy. She and the boy visit Maurice. The boy calls Maurice a dirty old man. Maurice hits the boy, and the boy hits Maurice, which causes Maurice to fall and get injured. After the incident Jessie is remorseful and agrees to look after Maurice. Some time later after Maurice has at least partly recovered he takes Jessie to the coast and as they sit down by the water Maurice says to Jessie "Now we can really talk" and dies in her arms.

Black Book  (In Dutch, German, English and Hebrew, with English subtitles)

Based on true events, Black Book is set during the final months of the Second World War when the Netherlands was split in half by occupying Axis forces. Rachel Steinn, a beautiful and independent young Jewish woman is separated from her parents and brother and forced into hiding. Trying to flee to Allied territory, she is reunited with her family, but sees them murdered by a Nazi patrol. Suspecting they have been double crossed, Rachel joins the Resistance and sets out to discover who has betrayed them. Adopting a new identity as the blonde Ellis de Vries, in no time she is using her womanly charms to infiltrate the ranks of senior German officers. But the real enemies are not necessarily the most obvious ones, as Ellis is soon to discover. Plot twists, subterfuge and deceit make for great drama, and Verhoeven ratchets up the tension to make this a gripping saga, lavishly told.

    Right now right here

Hi, so long to see everyone~ I will graduate this september~Yahoo

First day of July I decided to tidy up my life. Beginning with my room, got rid of all the trash I built up through the entire four and half years. Right here, I feel I can take my bag and go anyway. I am ready to move on with my life in other place if needed. Then I would like to pick up some lost time with all those people I met so far. From msn, qq to my phone list, I started to send emails, msgs to say hi and arrange some time to catch up if possible. I never noticed it was going to take such a long time to sort these out. I have more than 200 people on my msn, and nearly 100 people on my qq list, also about 70 people on my phone list. No joking~ I am not picky, but I do only keep people's contact number when I know them a bit, not just knowing the name! Oh my dear, it's like a project for me. Finally, I tracked down the number of friends that I would still love to keep in touch and remove some unfamiliars. Next step would be asking them to have some lazy afternoon coffee time together and such. Wow, at this point everything is in order and tidy.Even the part I hate the most to deal with: my laptop, right now, it's beautifully in front of me. You know, I bought a external hard drive to store my mess and huge files that were some kind of exhibition material for "my life in Auckland".

Well,Being a graduate soon, is like coming a sweet dream ending: happy and forever. I Believe it will be the time to try something new from right now right here!
